What is KAP?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a specialized treatment that integrates the use of ketamine, a medication traditionally used for anesthesia, with the insights and techniques of psychotherapy. This therapeutic approach provides a unique opportunity for individuals to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a supportive and guided setting while under the influence of ketamine.

Led by our founder, Morgan Grace, in collaboration with the Blossom Clinic and Dr. Qazi Javed, KAP offers a unique approach to addressing mental health concerns.

How does it work?

Ketamine works on the brain's neurotransmitter systems, particularly glutamate, which plays a crucial role in mood regulation, cognition, and emotional processing. By modulating these systems, ketamine has shown promising results in relieving symptoms of various mental health conditions.

During a ketamine-assisted therapy session, a qualified medical professional administers a controlled dose of ketamine to the patient. The dosage is carefully tailored to each individual's needs and is administered in a safe and comfortable environment. While under the effects of ketamine, individuals often experience a heightened state of consciousness, allowing for a deeper exploration of their thoughts, emotions, and inner experiences.

The therapist guides and supports the individual throughout the session, creating a secure and nurturing space for personal exploration. This collaborative process facilitates a deeper understanding of the root causes of mental health challenges and empowers individuals to develop new insights, perspectives, and coping mechanisms.
