My Story

I grew up in a multitude of environments as my father has been in the military my entire life. Being raised in a military family has given me an understanding of the unique challenges that come with military systems. I have learned to call “home” the place that I feel the safest and most secure. After multiple moves, I finally arrived in Texas and absolutely fell in love with the diverse culture and lifestyles Texans possess. After spending some brief time away from Texas, I eventually returned and received a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have served in various capacities within the Central Texas area. I served as a CPS Conservatorship caseworker serving children and families in need.

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, self-image, grief, relationship issues, and trauma. I am a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counseling Associate. I have a foundational therapeutic orientation in Person-Centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Through a holistic approach to therapy, my goal will always be to work collaboratively with you to better understand you and your goals and create tailored plans to help you reach such goals.

People experiencing struggles maintaining their desired quality of life while simultaneously trying to find healing in an unforgiving world possess immense potential to not only reach their goals, but to also grow in ways they never thought possible. Pain is an inevitable part of being human that we have all experienced. Stressful and painful moments often seem so overwhelming to handle. I firmly believe that you possess the potential and power to overcome this difficult time; and through relational therapy, become an even stronger version of yourself. Depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, relationship issues, trauma and other stressors can be difficult to overcome; and I vow to stand with and for you to serve you through this hardship.

Through the struggles we experience in our lives, we have room to change and grow. Beginning therapy can be a scary and stressful process for anyone. I want to reassure you that I am here to walk along side you in a nonjudgemental way and accept you for who you are. You possess to the power to be an overcomer and to find true healing; and I would love to help you in this fight.
