Who We Are

At Alchemy Collective, our therapists don't take this calling lightly.  We are passionate and dedicated to the mission of helping people heal, and gently revealing the inherent worth and strengths that exist in each and every individual.  We look forward to working with you!

Morgan Grace LCSW, LCDC, CCTP, EMDR, TCYM

Therapist and Founder

Welcome! I am so glad you are here. I look forward to meeting you where you are and helping explore the barriers that may be preventing you from moving forward in your life.

It takes a safe space in which to release the emotional weight and begin a journey to a better life. I am honored to provide such a space where you can feel seen and accepted, and be empowered with knowledge and interventions that can be life-changing.

I became a therapist to help people with their struggles because I have certainly experienced my own.  In my formative years and early adulthood, I experienced what I now know to be symptoms of complex post traumatic stress disorder.  Sprinkle in some severe acute traumas in my early twenties and long story short....I was a mess.  I was lost and confused, my coping skills were quick fixes but proved detrimental, and when I started seeking therapy I was even more discouraged.  As well meaning and kind as many of these therapists were who tried to help me...I left sessions more distressed and more confused than ever.

Many helping professionals back in the day were simply not well versed or trained in the effects of C-PTSD, much less how to treat it.  When I finally found a therapist who was trained in complex trauma, I felt seen and heard for perhaps the first time ever.  My healing journey had begun (woo hoo!)

After spending a significant amount of time investing in my growth and evolution past all the traumas that had claimed my identity for so long, I decided to leave my long time career as a professional musician and became a therapist so I could commit the rest of my life to helping others forge their own path toward permanent and lasting change.

My background and experiences in the field have prepared me in the best of ways to launch Alchemy Collective - I am grateful for them all.  I've worked in treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, a county jail, and later launched my private practice.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the state of Texas.  As I became more specialized in working with trauma, I also became a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).  Earlier in my career, I obtained certification in EMDR through EMDRIA, and also became certified in the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method.  Additionally, I have training in IFS, DBT, and ACT.

As I honed my passion and expertise in complex trauma and dissociation, I found a treatment approach called the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM).  During the training process, my mind and heart were blown open as I started to learn about how we can access and heal traumatic experiences we have held since our time in the womb or even in our lineages.  My practice now centers solely around CRM, and the majority of the clients who seek out my services are hoping to address their healing through the use of this game changing model.  Working within the CRM framework, helping clients access material and stories held in the DNA, I started to witness clients transform in awe inspiring ways.  The symptoms clients were suffering from that were simply not budging AT ALL with other modalities were now shifting and moving toward resolution and post traumatic growth.  When there are stuckpoints in your journey, please remember it isn't that you aren't working at your growth enough, "not doing therapy right", or that nothing has helped and nothing can help...quite the opposite, really - you just *might* be working in the wrong timeline.  :)

At Alchemy Collective, we are grateful for the opportunity to get to know you, hear you, and serve as your gentle guide in this journey.

Tamar Silberman MA, MSc, DiplOM

Licensed Acupuncturist

I grew up in a multitude of environments as my father has been in the military my entire life. Being raised in a military family has given me an understanding of the unique challenges that come with military systems. I have learned to call “home” the place that I feel the safest and most secure. After multiple moves, I finally arrived in Texas and absolutely fell in love with the diverse culture and lifestyles Texans possess. After spending some brief time away from Texas, I eventually returned and received a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have served in various capacities within the Central Texas area. I served as a CPS Conservatorship caseworker serving children and families in need.

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, self-image, grief, relationship issues, and trauma. I am a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counseling Associate. I have a foundational therapeutic orientation in Person-Centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Through a holistic approach to therapy, my goal will always be to work collaboratively with you to better understand you and your goals and create tailored plans to help you reach such goals.

People experiencing struggles maintaining their desired quality of life while simultaneously trying to find healing in an unforgiving world possess immense potential to not only reach their goals, but to also grow in ways they never thought possible. Pain is an inevitable part of being human that we have all experienced. Stressful and painful moments often seem so overwhelming to handle. I firmly believe that you possess the potential and power to overcome this difficult time; and through relational therapy, become an even stronger version of yourself. Depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, relationship issues, trauma and other stressors can be difficult to overcome; and I vow to stand with and for you to serve you through this hardship.

Through the struggles we experience in our lives, we have room to change and grow. Beginning therapy can be a scary and stressful process for anyone. I want to reassure you that I am here to walk along side you in a nonjudgemental way and accept you for who you are. You possess to the power to be an overcomer and to find true healing; and I would love to help you in this fight.

The two guiding principles I work with are:

The body wants to heal & Life wants to live.

My work is to help and guide the body to awaken to its healing potential.  In my sessions patients feel a deep relaxation and connection to their body, some feel more.

We focus on what is working, what is strong, what is healthy and alive and guide that to the places of pain and disharmony.

I allow the body to decide.  I allow life-force (Qi) to go free.  I have no agenda other than a strong intention to listen and support.

In my own health journey, I have contended with MS (multiple sclerosis) and deep depression.  To say the least, mainstream approaches to health and healing kept me sick and a victim to circumstance and I wanted to get better.  And so, I journeyed into the realm of many alternative healing modalities and found such a profoundly different experience.  I found an experience full of wonder, empowerment, and a longing to just keep getting better and better and better.  That is what I bring to you as a practitioner.  I make no promises to the level of health and healing you will achieve, but I can tell you, you will be transformed.

I chose to study and dedicate myself to Chinese medicine because it is fascinating and brilliant.  It offers great treatment tools, lifestyle recommendations, philosophy and more.  It is a powerful healing tradition that connects us to life.

I also offer a cognitive technique, The Work of Byron Katie, which I call “acupuncture for the mind.”  With this simple technique that I practice with you and teach you how to use, new synapses are made, and the mind can quiet down and become a friendlier counterpart.  You can LOVE every single thought you have and look forward to challenges and difficulties.  It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen in less time than you could ever imagine.

To those who connect with what I have written, you may also be open to receiving what I have to give.  Please feel free to connect with me and see if I can take part in your health and healing journey.

I hold a Texas license of Acupuncture and also a member of the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) since 2010.  I received a Master’s in East Asian Medicine from The Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine (SIOM) in 2010 and practiced in Israel for several years. I am also a registered Hatha Yoga instructor and have studied other energy centered healing modalities.

I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology focused on medical sociology, where I explored different systems of medicine as well as many perceptions of health, healing and disease.

I continue to study and grow my knowledge and capacity to help people.  I welcome difficult cases and look forward to helping you!
