My Journey

Hi, I’m Taylor. I’m so glad you’re here.

“I want to be alive and I want to be joyful and I want to be on fire, I want to be so human it makes the ice in my water glass melt.” – Jodi Picoult

This quote sings in my bones, a reminder of what we’re here for: to be so profoundly alive that the world feels it. To carry the weight of being human and still find the spark—small or roaring—that keeps us reaching for joy.

I believe in the quiet rebellion of showing up for yourself. In saying, “I deserve more than this ache, this hollow, this heaviness.” I know the courage it takes because I’ve been there. I’ve felt the ground fall out from beneath me, carried the shadows of trauma and chronic illness, and stumbled into light I didn’t think existed.

At 20, I found Judith Herman’s Trauma and Recovery, and my world cracked open. For the first time, I could name the pain, the confusion, the fractures in my story. Naming it meant I could begin to stitch myself back together—not perfectly, not quickly, but in a way that felt real. That’s what I want for you: a life stitched with care, with love, with intention.

Who I Work With

  • Survivors of Sexual Violence and Sexual Abuse             Sexual violence leaves deep imprints on the body and soul. Together, we’ll create a space for you to reclaim safety, intimacy, and self-love, peeling back the layers of shame to discover the deep well of power that lies beneath.

  • Complex Trauma Survivors
When harm comes early, it settles deep into us. But even the oldest wounds can be tended to. Together, we’ll unravel the shame and silence you’ve carried, piece by piece, until you can breathe easier and move forward.

  • Queer, Poly and Gender-Diverse Folks
I’m queer, and I know the sacredness of being fully seen. My office is a place where you don’t have to explain yourself. We’ll explore the intersections of identity, survival, and joy, creating space for all of who you are to exist and thrive.

  • Men
Society teaches men to bury their softness, to crush their vulnerability, to live half-lives under the weight of silence. Here, we’ll unpack those lies. Together, we’ll find the parts of you that were never allowed to bloom and nurture them into being.

  • Chronic Pain and Illness.                                                                 Our bodies hold so much—grief, trauma, resilience. When pain or illness takes over, it can feel impossible to reconnect. Together, we’ll find the small spaces of ease and build from there. If those spaces don’t exist yet, we’ll create them.

What Our Work Looks Like

My work is rooted in attachment and the neurobiology of trauma.  I offer 50 minute, 90 minute, and 120 minute sessions. Therapy with me is a collaborative, tender process—equal parts untangling and rebuilding. There is no rush here, no demand for perfection. It’s a space where every part of you is welcome: the protector, the critic, the dreamer, the exhausted survivor who isn’t sure where to start. Together, we’ll rediscover what’s alive inside you—your strength, your hope, your capacity for joy—and build a life that feels fully yours.

We’ll begin with your body, which carries the weight of your story in ways words often can’t. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy will help us gently uncover those stories—held in the tightness of your jaw, the clench of your fists, the stillness of your breath. Together, we’ll release what no longer serves you and create space for ease and connection.

EMDR will guide us to the places that feel stuck—the memories and beliefs that hold you back. Gently and intentionally, we’ll loosen their grip, helping you to reclaim those parts of your life and move forward with clarity, strength, and peace.

This process isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about remembering what’s still whole. Healing is not a straight line; it’s a dance between grief and joy, between unraveling and reweaving. It’s about finding your way back to yourself, piece by piece, breath by breath.

Together, we’ll build something honest and alive—a life that feels like it belongs to you.

Let’s begin.
